Oil change filter
 

I'm new hear, I have a 2012 fj. I attempted to do my first oil change. I don't mean to be stupid. But where is the oil filter. I took the skid plate off that covers where the oil pan plug is but I could not see a filter. I know it's the cartridge type. The only thing I can think is, do I have to remove the front skid plate and find it there. Any help is appreciated
