FYI I was running 33s without a lift. They would only rub on occasion, if I was backing up and had the wheel cranked or if I had the wheel cranked and went over a bump or something at considerable speed ( > 20 mph). Now granted, they are tall and skinny. With a wider tire you might have more problems
