Here is my $.02, for what it's worth... Converting your 2wd FJ to a 4wd FJ will be very expensive. Very. If you're willing to go through all of that trouble, I would be looking at going to a solid axle conversion. Doing a solid axle conversion cost more, but the end result is a much more effective off road machine. If you have the time, and patience, instead of saving up for one year and doing it stock, save for two and make it bad ass.
